The first years of life are filled with incredible growth, discovery, and development. At Secret Heart Academy, our Infant Program provides a safe, nurturing, and education-based environment where babies can explore the world around them while building the foundations for future learning.
The first two years of life lay the foundation for everything that follows. Our Infant Program provides a calm, nurturing environment where babies develop secure relationships, explore at their own pace, and gain confidence through loving, responsive care.
We combine attentive caregiving with an education-based, whole-child curriculum. Every interaction from feeding and story time to sensory play and outdoor walks is an opportunity to build language, curiosity, emotional security, and early cognitive development.
Each day includes music, stories, sensory exploration, creative discovery, and age-appropriate activities that encourage physical, social, emotional, and language development. Individual routines for feeding, naps, and comfort are respected to provide consistency between home and the centre.
Our qualified early childhood educators build meaningful relationships with every infant. By understanding each child's routines, temperament, developmental milestones, and individual needs, they create a safe environment where children feel secure, supported, and ready to learn.
Sensory bins, music and movement, board-book story time, and safe outdoor fresh-air breaks introduce new textures, sounds, and experiences every day.
Our Infant Program is thoughtfully designed for children between 8 and 24 months, a warm, responsive, and carefully prepared environment where infants feel safe, comfortable, and supported as they first experience care outside the home.
We know beginning childcare is a significant transition for infants and families alike. Our experienced educators take time to learn each child’s routines, cues, and comfort needs, so everyday moments, cuddles, discovery, meals, and rest, feel gentle and familiar.

The first two years are filled with remarkable growth. Through attentive care, meaningful interactions, and age-appropriate experiences, our educators support each infant’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development, adapting to every child’s own pace.

Even in infancy, children are always learning. Babies explore textures, sounds, colours, music, and books in a secure, supervised space, while educators talk, sing, read, and play, building early language, coordination, confidence, and meaningful connections.

Infants thrive when they feel secure. Feeding, diapering, rest, comfort, and play are approached with patience and warmth, not as tasks, but as valuable moments to strengthen relationships and build trust, with continuity between home and childcare wherever possible.
Parents know their children best, and families are essential partners in care. Educators keep in regular contact and share updates on meals, rest, diapering, activities, mood, and important moments, so care feels familiar, consistent, and responsive to each infant’s needs.
No centre can replace a parent’s love, but we offer a nurturing second home where infants feel valued and protected. Every cuddle, conversation, movement, and moment of discovery helps build the secure foundation your child needs for future growth and independence.
When your child is ready, usually around their second birthday, we plan the move to our Toddler Program together. Nothing changes overnight. Educators from both rooms share your child’s routines, and short visits to the toddler room help the new space feel familiar before the full transition.
